GENERAL MECHANICS for BGC Vision Digital Open
1. There will be two categories for the competition, namely the Video Open and the Digital Photo Competition.
2. An entrant may join one or more categories and may submit as many entries for each category.
3. The BGC (Bonifacio Global City) VISION Organizing Committee shall not be liable for any controversy regarding the sharing of awards among the members of the group.
4. Finalists will be informed via email and through the website.
5. Entries selected for the finals cannot be withdrawn from the competition.
6. BGC VISION Organizing Committee will retain ownership of all copies that will be submitted. It is the entrants’ responsibility to keep the original copy of the work. These entries will also be considered Bonifacio Global City (BGC) property once submitted as stipulated in the application form.
7. BGC VISION Organizing Committee will also have the right to exhibit the entry in subsequent VISION and Bonifacio Global City related events as well as use the entries in other vehicles as BGC sees fit.
8. Any entry not following the rules, regulations and mechanics WILL BE disqualified.
9. The VISION Organizing Committee assumes that all entries submitted are original works and are developed solely for this competition.
10. Registration and submission of entries will be from APRIL 18, 2009 (Monday) to MAY 18, 2009 (Monday), 9am-5pm.
VIDEO OPEN MECHANICS
1. THE VIDEO OPEN is open to all students, non-students and non-professionals. (The director, scripwriter and cinematographer of an entry must not be connected with any production, flm, TV companies or other companies or other companies related to video developments during the time of the production.)2. Registration and submission will be from APRIL 18, 2009 (Monday) to MAY 18 (Monday), 9am-5pm.

4. Video can only be done in any of the following genres from experimental, documentary, short narrative, flip book, or motion graphics provided final entry is submitted in a digital video format.
Video must be at least two (2) minutes long up to a maximum of ten (10) minutes
in length.
Be creative in your story-telling and treatment.
5. Any image-capturing device can be used like digital cameras, scanners, cellular
phones,
Hand sketches, film, etc. as long as content is original. Creative use of these
devices is encouraged.
6. No nudity or grotesque footage can be shown.
7. An entrant is encouraged to submit as many entries in this category

9. SECURING SHOOTING PERMITS:
Given that scenes have to be shot in Bonifacio Global City, special permits
have been created for the shooting period.
Step 1: Shooting Schedule should be made with Loyola Film Circle through Aika Beltran (0927.853.5087)
Step 2: Secure your IDs from the Loyola Film Circle on or before approved shooting days. These IDs should be worn at al times during the shooting period.
Take note that shooting period for Bonifacio Global City will be from April 18 to May 17, 2009 only.
10. During submission the following will be collected along with the ff:
(a) Accomplished application form
(b) List of participants and
(c) three (3) copies of the entry in DVD format.
(d) three (3) copies of the entry in data format (.avi or .mov files)
11. All of the requirements should be placed inside a short brown envelope, labeled

PHOTO OPEN MECHANICS
1. PHOTO OPEN is open to all students, non-students and non-professionals. (The photographer of an entry must not be a part of any professional photography clubs or other companies during the time of the competition)
2. Registration and submission will be from APRIL 18, 2009 (Monday) to MAY 18 (Monday), 9am-5pm.
3. Registration forms may be obtained from the following:

5. Any image-capturing device can be used like DSLR, digital point and shoot camera, camera phones etc. as long as content is original. Creative use of these devices is encouraged.
6 Use of software is allowed for the purpose of color correction and clean-up only.
7. No nudity or grotesque photos can be shown.
